Jønnhalt Gjesteseter lies on the plateau of Venabygdsfjellet in the municipality of Ringebu in Gudbrandsdalen, 820 m. asl. on the edge of a beautiful collection of summer farms. It's location is south-facing on the edge of woodland, with a view towards the ski resort of Kvitfjell across the valley.

Jønnhalt Gjesteseter lies 8 km from Venabygd Church, 17.5 km from Ringebu og 75 km north of Lillehammer. There is a good road to the door all year round.

There are good rail connections from Oslo & Trondheim (Ringebu lies about half way). Connections via taxi or minibus/bus can be arranged. The journey from Ringabu takes around 20 minutes. Guests arriving by plane to Oslo Gardermoen can either take the train or we can order a direct transfer if required.
